The point of my blog is to share what I consider to be a unique perspective on music. I’m a singer/songwriter, producer, audio engineer, and lover of just good music. It seems that the more I learn about music, the more I enjoy it. That is: the more I see the process behind the making of it, the more I appreciate it.
Through my blog I’m going to attempt to convey a thorough list of some of my major influences ranging from the 60s to the current era in no particular chronological order. Each week I’ll be using an artist or a select few artists that I admire and explain how they influence me (i.e from the perspective of mixing, recording, songwriting, etc.). In this way I hope to learn about how my own influences inspire me, and how they can resonate with others.

By providing what I hope to be a well-rounded perspective on music, and seeing if others can also relate, I can in some way learn about the universality of music and it can only contribute to my understanding of it, as well as other’s understanding of it.
My Sound Science 
At this point it’s still hard to see how you will go about engaging with artists and styles throughout this blog, so I will look forward to reading your first post to see what style and tone you eventually settle on.
I will encourage you to find some way of thematically grouping each post, since you are not going to be using a chronological order to your posts. There should be some level of organization that emerges over time, internally to each post and to the blog as a whole.
Keep the focus on you every time. Make sure we understand, as readers, why a genre, style, or artist is important to you and has influenced your own music making and music evolution. That’s what will elevate your blog, make it relatable, and keep people returning week after week.
